Hydroceles

So today, Austin had his hydroceles 'sealed' up.  Here we are the night before taking pictures...just in case the anesthesia was too much for him :(
Austin always with the hand in his face!
We have to hold his hands down now for pictures!
That night Austin would NOT go to bed!  He was up until 10:30 so waking him up before 8:00 am meant he was a little grumpy/tired!

I was so grateful Christian was able to get the day off to be there with me!  Here they are looking at buses!
 Cuddle time with Christian!
He loves his daddy--and likes pennies, too :)
 Getting ready for surgery!
Afterwards he woke up calm and happy.  We'll see how it goes when the caudal block wears off!
We're just happy to have him coming back home!  Thank you everyone for your prayers!  We could literally feel the peace that comes when others are praying for you.  We're so grateful to God that all is well!

Mom and Andre

We were so lucky to have my mom and Andre come and visit us for almost an entire week this time!

We spent a lot of time reading stories!  Mom and Andre had to share the reading glasses which didn't always go over well with Austin!
 They love their grandparents!

We played a lot of games (whether the kids were awake or not!)
We fulfilled my dream and built a garden!  We even finger painted it first and the kids LOVED it!
Austin concentrating hard to mix the paint!
Tyson even got some on his face!
Christian came home just in time to add some stars!
Another day we went to Shaker village and took a tour.  It was awesome!  The sun was shining and the boys did fairly well all things considered!  By the end I was exhausted from chasing them around hoping they wouldn't break artifacts or things from the shops but it was well worth it!
The boys found a cat to torture :)
The Shakers were very good at making brooms so we learned the basics and had to pose with their brooms!
Austin was trying to break down the barn door to get to all the animals!  Fortunately for them it was locked!

As you can see in the background, Austin is just wandering off--soon to be in the street and almost hit by a car.  Lucky for us he was not and just had to be locked in the stroller for the rest of the day!
We stopped for dinner at a nearby town and saw this sweeto bike outside a shop!
Tyson helped Andre build the garden every step of the way!
 The boys hard at work!
Mom and Andre also worked with Tyson on his hand-eye coordination!  It was so fun to see him learn to hit a ball!
 Hard at work!

Every night we got to go somewhere special to eat.  The last night the boys got to experience Chuck E. Cheese's!
Needless to say, they LOVED it!

Chuck E. Cheese himself!  Austin was a little frightened at first.  He threw a bunch of tickets all over the floor and Austin tried to give them back to him!
Playing air hockey!  Christian beat me for the first time in 5 years--it was a hard loss for me!  Anyway, we had so much fun and two days later the boys were still asking where Grandma and "Frampa" were!  Thank you so much for coming to visit us, taking us shopping, taking us out, and especially for our amazing garden!  We are SO excited to plant!! We love you and can't wait to see you again!

Holidays!

For Valentine's day we made these cool jars with our friends for our mantel!  Tyson's is the green one so it can double for St. Patrick's Day :)
Tyson handmade Valentine's for all of his classmates and for "Cushyen" aka Christian.  I got out the supplies to make his Valentine box and he proceeded to make them for all of his friends...he is the cutest little boy in the world!
Valentine's day breakfast of green eggs and heart toast!
 Making the Valentines!
Every time we take a picture, Austin tries to put his hand up or get in the picture regardless if he's supposed to be in it!
 Happy Valentine's Day!
Tyson got to choose the topic one week for school and he chose...pinatas!  Here is his owl pinata that he liked too much to break, so we had to cut a hole in the back to sneak the candy out!
 Austin once again photo-bombing!
These boys can really wear you out!  Here they are jumping all over their dad who is literally asleep!
Here's Tyson's Valentine's Day box.  He was so nice to share every single one of his treats--seriously!
For St. Patrick's Day we went to the parade on Saturday with a friend.  It was a really weird parade but still fun just the same!  Happy 'holidays!'
