Austin is off to Miss Bryn's Preschool! Bryn is my neighbor and friend. When we first moved to Lexington, she added an extra spot to allow Tyson to come to her preschool. It meant the world to me because she had already been telling people she was full but since we didn't have a car, and Tyson would be starting kindergarten the next year, she allowed him to come. It was the BEST experience ever. She actually loved every one of her kids and Tyson just blossomed. I was so excited (and a little nervous) for Austin to start at her preschool!
I LOVED that he chose a Thomas backpack over Spiderman. There's just something sweet and innocent about choosing trains!
Austin really is getting so big! (He tells me that every time he eats!)
Christian texted and told me it was free orange leaf--so we went and shared a great big bowl!
Tyson and Austin went right outside and shared it under the cherry tree. It was the sweetest!
After taking their pictures, I got to sit out there with them. It was such a precious moment.
I love these kids!
And this one too! Here is Neal after his first haircut! Hardly anything came off!
We were SO lucky to have Laurie come and visit us in Louisville this month! She was so kind to drive 2 hours out of her way to have a picnic lunch by the temple and meet us for church. She is the sweetest! She read "The Little Red Hen" with the boys and they were enthralled!
It was the same version Grandma read to her when she was young!
We cherish every chance we get to see Laurie! Thank you for coming!
I just love these friends! When they come to play, they imagine and create and it is the coolest thing to overhear!
Christian reading to Neal! I love these two!
Tyson's drawing of me :)
We took the opportunity to hike up Raven Run as a family and ended up hiking for 4 hours!
Good thing we packed a lunch!
We found a rat snake, a blue tailed newt, and some beautiful butterflies!
Me and Neal!
We hiked through a river!
It was a great break for Neal too since he was in the backpack the whole time. He did great!
They had fun exploring!
Thanks to this guy for pulling us home! We never would have made it without him!
