Graduation was wonderful. I really didn't think I would ever--ever cry during a graduation ceremony! I did :) When the music started playing and I started thinking about the last four years and what an amazing accomplishment this was. Christian would never tell you, but he worked so hard during dental school! We were incredibly blessed on top of that, which is the only way we are able to specialize. I think that is how a graduation is supposed to feel. It isn't just the celebration of--you made it to the end, hurray--it is the celebration of the realization of the cumulative effect of the past four years of your life. All of the hours and years of your life you've lost due to stress alone have finally paid off. I'm so grateful we made it through!
The white coat ceremony, or your induction into dental school, was the first time I sat by Andrea. It was fun to sit by her at the final ceremony we'd ever attend together. I served with her in the Primary and have learned so much from her. Thank you Andrea, for everything!
The day before the ceremony, we went to the Cheesecake factory with Christian's parents. They also invited the Blairs, our very dear friends. It was so thoughtful of them to let us spend our last few days with friends as well as family. Thank you Greg and Sandy!
Christian graduated in the top ten of his class, so we were invited to a special dinner and award ceremony. He's such a stud!! Here we are all fancy :)
